The puppies are starting their neurological development stimulation exercises today, August 9th. These will take place daily until they are 16 days old. We do two types (ESI & ENS).
Early Scent Introduction (ESI) for puppies, involves exposing them to a variety of scents from days 3-16 of age. It helps to enhance their scent recognition and discrimination abilities, leading to better performance in scent-related activities later in life. It is also beneficial for a dog's overall well-being, potentially reducing fear and anxiety responses to unfamiliar scents and in new surroundings or situations.
Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), also known as the Bio Sensor program, is a technique used to stimulate puppies from days 3-16 of age. The goal is to improve the animal's stress response later in life by exposing them to gentle stressors for short periods. ENS may encourage puppies to be more active and exploratory, can contribute to a stronger immune system and improved overall health, can lead to improved heart rate and stronger heartbeats, helps to improve their bonding with people, and may help to improve adrenal gland function.
Rosie
Rosie is a wonderful puppy who loves giving kisses and adores children. She has the most engaging personality and absolutely loves people.
She already uses her potty tray and is being introduced to the “grass” area outside for housebreaking.
She has a silky, thick, wavy, no-shed coat that is considered hypoallergenic and should mature to be around 8 pounds. She has the most intelligent, cute face and soft wavy hair.
Her mother, Leah, has produced many puppies that have gone on to become service dogs, therapy dogs, medical dogs, ESAs, and PTSD/Autism Support dogs.
We expect Rosie to have an excellent temperament and personality. In addition to being a loving family member, Rosie should also be suitable as an ESA or as a candidate for training as a Therapy, Medical, or Support Dog, like her previous (& many of her current) siblings.
